The Xiaomi 12 Lite was released in July in a global version. Now, Xiaomi has received the European Economic Community EEC certificate for the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series of smartphones. Therefore, it can be assumed that the global version will be released. The EEC certificate lists the model numbers of the upcoming Xiaomi smartphones as 2210132G and 2210133G. The model number ends with the letter āGā. That “G” probably refers to the Global model. Both Xiaomi and Redmi phones are registered with Xiaomi Communications.
The Xiaomi 13 series is expected to be released in the Chinese domestic market by the end of November this year. The global version is expected to be released early next year. Xiaomi 13 series is reported to use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Xiaomi says the 13 series uses a single-cell battery and a Xiaomi-developed charging chip, the Surge P1. The chip can handle 100W fast charging. 50W wireless charging is also available. There is no news regarding the Redmi Note 12 series yet.
